About the ACVP

The American College of Veterinary Pharmacists (ACVP) was established to support the efforts of independent pharmacists in developing and strengthening the services they provide for veterinarians in meeting the needs of their practices. The College provides educational materials and programs, serves as an information resource and provides networking opportunities and specialty services for Members.

Membership in the American College of Veterinary Pharmacists includes an experiential training program that provides "hands-on" experience in the following areas:

The American College of Veterinary Pharmacists is aware of the demand for quality educational programs in the area of veterinary pharmacy practice. This need is met through ACVP sponsored conferences, certificate programs, specialty training programs, and independent study courses. Major educational themes include veterinary physiology, pharmacology, compounding, law and marketing.
