Golden Gate Pharmacy is a locally owned, nationally accredited compounding pharmacy. We have been custom compounding medicines for animals in California for almost 10 years. Our focus is on producing high quality custom compounds that meet the needs of both pets and pet owners.

Our pharmacists and lab technicians are specially trained in veterinary compounding. We have been recognized nationally by the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) as a pharmacy that meets stringent standards of quality and safety. What is Pharmacy Compounding?

Pharmacy compounding is the customized preparation of a medicine that is not otherwise commercially available.  A compounded medication can only be prepared by a licensed pharmacist based on a prescription from your veterinarian. Animals have very unique health needs which many prescription medicines cannot meet.  Our pets come in all shapes and sizes, while many prescription medicines are available in only a few strengths, which are often not ideal for your pet. For them, customized medications are the only way to better health.
